LGO alum's energy "moonshot" idea on Google's Solve for X site

Aaron Fyke's idea for renewable energy is officially a "moonshot," meaning it's won the honor of being shared with thousands of innovators and others through Google's "Solve for X" website.
"Solve for X" is a site for sharing presentations about radical technology ideas for solving global problems. The site presents ideas that are located at the intersection of three buckets: huge problems, radical solutions, and breakthrough technologies.
Fyke, LGO '02, gave a webinar presentation on his Energy Cache startup to the LGO community in December. MIT Technology Review, one of Google's collaborators on Solve for X, subsequently posted his presentation here. The idea behind Energy Cache is to store and later release energy using "gravel on ski lifts." Read earlier MIT LGO stories about the company here and here, or watch a demo video.
